What Are Quilters Blogging About Today?

This series of designs was started as a challenge to myself, to design a large quilt with some of the blocks looking like pages of a botanica, with art work depicting plants, along with details of the leaves, flowers and seeds … and after about 15 years it has a long way to go … but at least I have the layout I like, and know how many pages, 24, of flowery pages I need.

My challenge for the next 12 months is to work at drawing those pages.

One of my very slow moving virtual projects! The idea started before I had a computer, let alone a program to help me draw quilts, and still has a way to go before I reach the ultimate goal.

Each time i open it I add something, but it is very slow progress. This time I just added some blocks I drew elsewhere, with the idea I would eventually modify them to suit my ultimate plan. It took me half an hour to locate some of the blocks I was looking for, which is a good incentive to keep sorting, naming ...
